Boa-Franc is the North American leader in the manufacturing of superior quality prefinished hardwood floors, notably the highly acclaimed Mirage products.

From its humble beginnings in 1979, with production concentrated on linear unfinished hardwood flooring, the company continued to upgrade its facilities and enhance its production capacity and the quality of its products. In 1990, Boa-Franc started manufacturing prefinished floors under the Mirage Classic brand. Three years later, 100% of the production was sold prefinished, quickly earning the company a reputation for quality and innovation. In 1998, Mirage Engineered flooring made its appearance. Subsequently, a second factory was built to install a second production line of solid flooring, then another for engineered flooring. In 2007, a third technology platform was introduced: the Lock, a product for ultra-fast unfixed installation, ideal for large construction projects such as buildings, condos, and office towers.

Our clients are spread all across North America and we maintain close ties with our sales network. In Canada and in the Northwest U.S., we distribute our products directly to specialized floor covering dealers. In the United States, eleven distributors sell our products to dealers. Our suppliers are located mainly in North America, but also in Finland, Russia, Brazil, and even in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Our desire to be the best in our field pushes us to always seek out the best suppliers who are also experts in their field of activity, whether for raw materials such as wood, other products such as varnishes and stains, or equipment at the cutting edge of the technology we use.
