Supplier of Mine - Guns 'N Roses: Supplier Focus

By: Dr. Adam Stoehr

Originally when Guns and Roses wrote their hit Sweet Child of Mine, Axl and the crew were considering a version of the song that was about organizational Suppliers and Partners.  At the last minute they changed the lyrics to the ones that fans know from the album Appetite for Destruction.  The following lyrics were recently uncovered and they take the song in a different direction. These lyrics take into account all of the elements from the Canada Awards for Excellence Quality Criteria, Supplier/Partner Focus driver.  If you want to sing along, go to YouTube and use the lyrics below to find out how to focus on your suppliers.

Supplier of Mine - Guns 'N Roses: Supplier Focus - Quality Remix 3 of 6

By: Guns and Roses and Adam Stoehr

We choose suppliers, consistently
Our goals are related like family tree
Where plans and goals are created with those who supply

When we arrange for a new partner base
We take it away to staff just in case
Cause if it hurts them at all, we’d probably break down and cry

Woh oh oh, Supplier of mine
Woh oh oh oh, Sweet partner of mine

Guitar Solo 1

We’ve got eyes on charts in pies, and if they are in pain
We’d work with them to clear the skies, and smooth the rough terrain
Our talks reminds us of the things we share that as a pair we provide
And hope that the partner and the clients will benefit all in stride

Woh oh oh, Supplier of mine
Woh oh oh oh, Sweet partner of mine

Guitar Solo 2

Woh oh oh, Supplier of mine
Woh oh oh oh, Sweet partner of mine

Woh oh oh oh, Supplier of mine, oooh yeah
Oh oh oh oh, Sweet partner of mine

Guitar Solo 3

I wanna know
Improving the flow now
I wanna know

I wanna know
Improving the flow now
I wanna know

I wanna know
Supplier
Improving the flow now

I wanna know
Improving the flow now

Supplier
Supplier of mine
