Canada Awards for Excellence

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) is an independent trust agency that administers compensation and no-fault insurance for Ontario workplaces. It employs about 3,750 people located in Toronto and 13 regional offices across the province.

The WSIB’s journey with Excellence Canada began in 2005 when it set out on a mission to improve the culture of workplace health and wellness. The release of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace was a catalyst for change. The WSIB is proud to have created and launched a comprehensive strategy and a policy that focuses on preventing mental injury and promoting holistic wellbeing to all employees.
