The Canadian Business Excellence Awards for Private Businesses, presented by Excellence Canada, is a prestigious national program held annually to honor outstanding achievements in business excellence. This special designation recognizes organizations across all industries that exemplify a strategic and sustained commitment to improving performance, fostering innovation, and achieving their goals.
Our mission is to celebrate and showcase private businesses that lead the way in operational excellence and continuous improvement, inspiring others to follow suit. By highlighting these success stories, the Canadian Business Excellence Awards serve as a benchmark for excellence and a catalyst for innovation in the private sector.
Application process
Eligibility
Any Canadian owned and controlled private business operating in Canada that has been in operation for at least two years.
Complete the Awards Application by Arpil 30th 2026. The application will be focused on delighted customers, engaged employees & innovation.
At the end of your application you will be prompted to pay the application fee of $699 +hst.
Applicants are assessed by the Canadian Business Excellence Awards adjudication committee based on three key performance areas outlined in the award criteria.
Our Canadian Business Excellence Award commitee will reach out to applicants to inform them of the success of their application.
2026 Canadian Business Excellence Award Recipients will have the opportunity to attend our 2026 CBEA Award Ceremony in September 2026.
