Session Themes

7 Imperatives of Great CEOs/ Introduction to Emotional Intelligence
The first session of the Global Leadership Training Program begins with a review. ofthe “7 Imperatives of Great CEOs”, with specific emphasis on the necessity of vision, implementing culture, driving accountability, and achieving alignment and synchornicity. Participants will also be introduces to Emotional Intelligence (EI), including the Five Components of EI, and. thecrucial role that EI plays in enabling high performance.

Improving EI Skills / What Got You Here Won't Get You There
This session goes deeper into Emotional Intelligence with an examination of the four essential EI competencies of leaders, and the EI skills associated with leadership derailment. The purpose of this session is to help participants identify their leadership potential and understand the habits holding them back from reaching their full potential. To facilitate this, partcipants will be encouraged to participate in an EQ Self-Assessment

5 Dysfunctions of a Team / The 4 Meetings Model
In this session, we examine the Five Dysfunctions of a team and the key ways to overcome them. Participants will complete a Team Assessment, identify the #1 dysfunction on the team they are currently leading, and learn specific actions they take. to eliminate that dysfunction. This session also takes a focused look at the keys to successful meetings, with specific emphasis on the benefits of the Four Meeting Model.

Spirit of Performance / Knowing the Numbers
This session provides participants with the required tools to help them develop a culture of accountability within the team they are leading. The goal of the session is for participants to understand the importance of a well-defined mission, the four superpowers of OKRs (Objectives & Key Results), and develop their number one strategic priority to improve their team’s spirit performance.

What an A Player Looks Like and the Cost of B and C Players / Finding Attracting and Keeping A Players
In this session, participants will be introduced to the key characteristics and mega competencies of A Players and why they are so important to find, attract and retain. Specific tools. andaction items to achieve this will be shared and discussed. Participants will also learn how to identify and deal with B and C Players.

Review of EI Assessment Results / The Importance of Feedback / LPI Overview
This sessions begings with a review of EQ Self-Assessment results with the intention of providing each participant with a better understanding of the emotional intelligence skills essential to support being a successful leader. The value of receiving feedback is discussed alongside an introduction to the Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI 360). participants will be encouraged to complete and LPI 360 on themselves, the person they report to, their peers and their direct reports.

Eliminating the Greatest Dysfunction on Your Team / Healthy Organizations
In this session, we will dig deeper in team performance and look at. thefive critical factors in building an A-Player team. This sessions also includes a comprehensive discussion. ondiversity, equity, and inclusion and the importance of DEI to a healthy team dynamic.

Leading High Performers / Review of Your LPI 360
In this session, participants will review their LPI 360 feedback, determine their #1 leadership behabiour to improve based on that feedback, and develop a specific action plan to schieve that improvement. The value of KPIs, the importance of knowing the numbers and having a template to view and analyse those numbers will. bediscussed. Partcipants will be challneged to develop their top three KPIs for their area of responsibility.

Accountability and Fierce Conversations / Confrontation Model / Improving Your Communication Skills
This session focuses on how to deliver “superior” presentations and how (and when) to have successful ‘confrontational’ conversations. Participants will take away key communication. and presentation tips and tools, and identify their #1 action item for their most important #1 Fierce Conversation.

Time Management / Change Management / Program Review and Wrap Up
The purpose of this session is for participants to learn how to have successfully lead transformational change and drive innovation, including the ‘Eight Steps to Transformational Change’ and the ‘4 Box Change Management Model’. Participants will also evaluate how they spend their time versus the highest and best use of their time and determine action items for improving their time leadership.
Total investment for this one-year senior leadership development program is $8500

Upcoming Classes
Each class includes 40 hours of participative leadership training broken down into 10, four-hour group sessions over 10months. The group sessions are supported. by monthly, 30 minute, one-to-one sessions with a class trainer to answer any questions, follow-up on action items and ensure learning of major principles. Participants can also have access to ongoing CEO Global Network webinars, roundtables and virtual speaker events.
