Profil du récipiendaire

Carleton University, Students and Enrolment Division

Récipiendaire – Bronze 2019
Excellence, Innovation et Mieux-être

The Carleton University Students and Enrolment Division is made up of 23 units consisting of over 400+ professional staff and continues to be committed to the Excellence, Innovation and Wellness® (EIW) initiative. Although diverse, each unit contributes to the same mission of supporting students in achieving their academic, personal and professional potential through exceptional programs and services while contributing to the university’s overarching academic mission of teaching, research and community service.

The Students and Enrolment Division has engaged the entire staff in the strategic planning process and the Division’s new strategic plan represents all departments, and their programs and services, in addition to prioritizing EIW. Upcoming initiatives include the establishment of a cross divisional communication team to better communicate information throughout the division, the incorporation of EIW in the new Students and Enrolment Strategic Plan, a review of the Healthy Workplace initiatives to ensure all staff have access to the activities, and the development of a partnership plan. The Division is excited to continue their work toward Silver Certification.

Members of the first cohort of Carleton Therapy Dogs. This program was brought forward by a staff member who identified the value of therapy dogs to the student population and its success has led it to becoming an expanded and ongoing initiative.

“Participating in Excellence Canada’s Excellence, Innovation and Wellness certification will guide the Students and Enrolment Division at Carleton University towards best practices, emphasizes the importance of measuring our progress, as well as identify where there may be opportunities to grow and improve. We are excited about what we have already learned during the application process for Bronze certification and look forward to submitting an application for Silver.”
