Founded in 1891, the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia is the regulatory body for pharmacy in British Columbia and is responsible for registering pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and licensing pharmacies throughout the province. The College’s mandate is to protect the public by ensuring pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are fully qualified and able to provide safe, ethical and effective care to help people achieve better health.

To fulfill its mandate of better health through excellence in pharmacy amid an ever-changing provincial health landscape, the College is committed to staying modern, relevant and adaptable. As part of this commitment, the College has undergone a comprehensive assessment from all perspectives, including its employees, customers, partners and leadership, in order to identify and address strategic organizational needs, streamline processes, and implement best practices.
