Leader in applied research, the Quebec Metallurgy Center brings together a team of 49 employees to support the competitiveness of businesses, in a collaborative approach. Its expertise follows recent technological advances in metallurgy and sustainable metal transformation (ISO 9001 and 17025 environment) to offer concrete solutions to industrial problems as well as specialized training for workers, including non-destructive testing. Each year, the CMQ serves more than 200 manufacturing companies, 70% of which are SMEs. It offers research infrastructure on an area of approximately 60,000 square feet, worth nearly $40M.
