The Town of Aurora is a growing community with small-town charm, located in central York Region in the Greater Toronto Area. Aurora has a diverse economy, and is home to many large corporations.
The Town has modern, multi-use recreational facilities, playing fields, parks and trails. The Aurora Family Leisure Complex features a fitness centre with an indoor walking track, program rooms, climbing wall and gymnasium. The Parks Division manages over 62 parks encompassing more than 800 acres. There is also a connecting trail system of approximately 62 kilometres.
Aurora has an active downtown core with unique shops and restaurants. It is also a multi-faith community with direct access to many places of worship. The Town produces more than 23 special events throughout the year to keep residents and visitors entertained. Aurora is the best place to live, work and play!
