The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) is a professional association representing more than 14,000 REALTORS® and their companies. REBGV provides a variety of member services, including the Multiple Listing Service®.
Ten local real estate brokers founded the association in 1919 to provide those engaged in real estate with the tools, information and services necessary to serve the home buying and selling needs of Greater Vancouver’s residents.
In 1996, the association embarked on a journey of continuous improvement with the National Quality Institute, which later became Excellence Canada.
Embedding excellence principles and practices into its culture over the last 26 years has made REBGV a high-performing organization focused on innovation. Over this time, REBGV has created an “improvement” and “challenge” culture rooted in Excellence Canada’s standards.
Staff are encouraged to identify fail points throughout the organization. This empowers them to challenge existing practices and seek efficiencies that improve their business processes, culture, and, above all, service to their members.
Our Hey Stranger! videos was a series we developed, sponsored by our Healthy and Respectful Workplace Team to help staff feel a little more connected to each other while we worked from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. We even produced an offshoot of these videos to highlight our Excellence Program and Teams called Hey Excellence!
