Formed in 2001, Bruce Power is an electricity company based in Bruce County, Ontario, employing 4,200 people. It safely delivers clean, reliable, low-cost nuclear power to families and businesses across the province, and is a significant source of Cobalt-60, used for the sterilization of medical equipment around the world and for specialized cancer treatment.

Bruce Power is committed to being a good corporate citizen, supporting activities and causes that promote safety, health and the environment, and promoting the well-being of children and families in the community. The company also prioritizes the development of programs that support the needs of staff and promote their overall health. Currently, Bruce Power is working to assess its performance against the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace and to use the framework to guide improvement efforts in a sustainable way.

Bruce Power is a proud supporter of Canadian Mental Health Association. For more than eight years, Bruce Power has partnered with this valuable organization to support mental health activities across Bruce and Grey County.
