Hydro-Québec generates, transmits and distributes electricity. It is Canada’s largest electricity producer and ranks among the world’s largest hydropower producers. Hydro-Québec uses mainly renewable generating options, in particular large hydro.
Hydro-Québec’s Groupe – Distribution, approvisionnement et services partagés develops, operates and maintains the power grid in order to deliver reliable electricity and quality services to Hydro-Québec’s 4.4 million customers. The group also manages all strategic procurement of goods and services and supports all of the company’s operational activities in the field with regard to logistics (transportation, material) and real estate.
