Mental Health at Work

Funded by Health Canada, the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) leads the development and dissemination of innovative programs and tools to support the mental health and wellness of Canadians.

As a champion of the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, the MHCC is creating a psychologically healthy workplace where employees understand their role within the organization. It promotes a workplace free of harassment and bullying, where workloads are manageable, expectations are clear, and talent and expertise are aligned with job functions. It values a culture wherein people believe they have the freedom to air their grievances, and are confident that the resolution will lead to positive change.
