Course Description

A Strategic Approach to Excellence, Innovation and Wellness is a course that teaches employees basic principles of excellence, innovation and wellness. Using research based on the 30+ year history of the Canada Awards for Excellence program, this course will provide clarity and give participants a common language to describe the subject of excellence and how to reap the benefits associated with its implementation. The course will also examine research that showcases the link between employee happiness and a strategic approach towards Excellence, Innovation, and Wellness as well as the benefits of prevention-based process management.

Course Performance

Participants enrolled in this course will have learned the elements of the Excellence Innovation and Wellness® Standard, and its use as an overall strategic approach for excellence across an organization; how a strategic approach towards excellence help an organization improve; the links between a strategic approach towards excellence and employee engagement, satisfaction, and morale; the drivers of excellence that steer overall organizational performance; the basic principles of excellence and how they can drive performance improvements; and how prevention-based process management can be used to reduce overall costs.
