Healthy Workplace®and Mental Health at Work®
Environment, Health, Safety and Wellness are critical to Wajax’s performance and how they conduct their business. At Wajax they believe the strength of their company is in its people. The company is committed to providing a workplace that is safe and a work environment that fosters good health and wellness.  This is demonstrated by the CEO’s encouragement of mental health discussions and open dialogue to help build a safe and supportive work environment to ensure everyone is as mentally, physically, and financially healthy as possible. Various resources are available to employees including a network of 100+ volunteer Wellness Champions across the country, who implement health and wellness initiatives locally.
Maria organized a Spirit Day for the Finance team at Lachine office on July 29th, 2022. The purpose of this event was to engage in some outdoor physical activity to boost our physical and mental well-being. It made the team smile, laugh, and feel happy. It really lifted the employees’ spirits.
This harsh reality, along with our responsibilities as an employer, prompted us to devote dedicated resources to address the mental health and well-being of our teammates and their family members.
